SUREPATH

  • Provides real time vector velocity measurement at 10-1000 times per second

  • Terrain independent – works over all terrain types

  • Velocity resolution of 1m/s with no upper or lower speed constraints on measurement

  • Laser based sensor capable of measuring simultaneous line-of-sight measurements used to determine velocity and range along three different laser beams relative to local ground

  • Ensuring a higher level of safety and improved efficiency.

  • Range detection with low power consumption

  • RF invisible, cannot be detected or disrupted

  • Superior overall navigation performance that cannot be jammed or defeated.

Key Parameters

  • Dead Reckoning performance of 0.2% distance traveled

  • Horizontal position accuracy of 0.4m RMS

  • Dynamic heading accuracy of 0.05˚ RMS

  • Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) coming in 2025

  • Provides real time altitude measurement at 10-1000 times per second

  • Terrain independent – works over all terrain types

  • Altimeter resolution of 1 m/s with no upper or lower speed constraints on measurement

  • For ground applications provides high precision changes in terrain

  • Coherent lidar does not operate in the RF spectrum and is therefore robust to RF interference, including 5G

  • Can penetrate atmospheric obscurants including fog, smoke, and rain better than a visible camera

Key Parameters

  • Operation altitude from the surface to 49,000 ft

  • Altimetry with 7cm accuracy

  • Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) coming in 2025

Available in four variants depending upon requirements

Industrial Grade - Capable of operating within a GPS-denied environment for up to 60 sec

Tactical Grade - Capable of operating within a GPS-denied environment for up to 60 min

Navigation Grade - Capable of dead reckoning in a GPS-denied environment over an extended period of time to less than 0.1% of distance travelled

SurePath- Grade - Integrates a second BPO for extremely precise heading and incorporates next-generation navigation algorithms for significantly longer duration GPS denied or vulnerable environments

- Proprietary filter corrects IMU errors and provides real-time state information

- Built-in Redundancy, 4 Navigation Doppler Lidar (NDL) lasers are utilized for a full 3D measurement

- Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), next generation lidar architecture where a single NDL channel operates through an optical switch at any one time for a single transmit/receive opto-electronic section characteristic.

- Improved performance over more common sensors such as Odometer, Radar or other tracking systems

- Technology aids in both navigation and collision avoidance

  • Utilizes SurePath camera to match the features of the scene to an onboard global database for absolute position determination

  • In conjunction with SurePath-grade INS functionality dramatically reduces the search area while dramatically extended the amount of time required to obtain a match

  • Mutually reinforcing navigation modalities become a viable backstop to GNSS and enable indefinite positional accuracy

  • These SurePath technologies cannot be interfered with, detected or defeated

Delayed Feature Availability

  • Utilizes SurePath lasers to match the terrain elevation of the scene to an onboard global database for absolute position determination
